DOes anyone have tips about documenting accepting partial rent payments and that agreement not constituting an agreement to proceed with legal actions. --65.26.xxx.xxx

Does anyone have tips on how to document to tenant for landlord who accepts partial rent payment. I want to make sure the tenant knows that the partial payment does not prevent current legal action. Tenant was served a 28 day notice on 2nd. In WI 28 day notice served on the 2nd is a no cause notice after the 30th court date is filed and eviction is auto granted --65.26.xxx.xxx

I personally don't accept partial payments. It seems that a tenant requesting one would be a very shaky one financially indeed. --66.28.xxx.xx

Landlords acceptance, at any time, of any partial payment of arrears rent or fees, from Tenant, does not constitute waiver of the requirement for full payment of rent and/or fees due. --75.20.xxx.xxx

if my intentions were to evict that tenant if all money is not paid, then I would not take partial rent.

You may be asking for trouble if you take money and evict --97.91.xxx.xx
