State Specific Question About: ARIZONA (AZ)
I had a tenant that skipped out on me in summer 2005
with 5 months of lease time left and plenty of damages.
I just found out she now lives in California but her parents address is here in AZ. Is it too late to do a judgement against her? Also can I have the notice be served to her parents address as I know that is where she stays when she often comes to AZ.
thanks for any info, all is appreciated --72.201.xx.xxx |

I'm sure you have to serve her where she LIVES; although filing and mailing a copy of the lawsuit at her parents' AND her CA home may get some results. --207.200.xxx.xxx |

You need to check with your local court house, many small claims do not have a long arm statute, which would allow you to server her in CA. Therefore you may have to wait until she visit her parents to server her. --68.83.xxx.xxx |
