State Specific Question About: KANSAS (KS)

my son and his wife.asked me and my oldest son to rent a big house together, with them.after about a month. we said ok.the deal was all rent ,elc ,gas water.all was to pay a fourth each.which was ok.so after three days .things stared going bad.my youngest son .started making rules that no one new about.which after about a week the fist fight happen.lonnie said if any friends came here.then he said he would kick,there ass. now second fight.I the mother called police, not wanting my two sons .hurting each other.now lonnie is trying to evict me and my other son.I need help.i live on a widows penson. and get paid once amonth.I know now he used me to get him into a better place.for my son to do this realy hurts.and i dont know what i can do about all of this,any advice will be helpful thank you. --76.251.xx.x

I'm sorry that this happened. However, I find it surprising that you as Lonnie's mother had no clue that he could not be trusted. The problems began after THREE DAYS - this could not have been the first fight he started.

See if all four can agree to a written set of rules.

Lonnie cannot evict anyone. Only the landlord can do that.

thank you.no it is not the first fight lonnie has been. And I dont think it will be the last.and yes i throught i did know my son.my son had been gone for 10 years.he had only been for 3 years.and lonnie for these 3years was lonnie. I had no idea he ran his house like a prison.and he the warden. --76.251.xx.x
