You can't just push it into the street, that is illegal, dangerous, and could put any potential liability on you. --207.190.xxx.xxx

Whether or not a non-owner can haul off a junk car is something with a local answer, and the local answer may be different depending whom you call.

If this car belongs to your current tenant you might have a problem forcing them to move it unless you have some sort of provision in your lease. In my lease it states that it is a lease violation to have cars that are not running stored in any area outside of the designated parking area. It if is a health or safety issue like someone mention check your local ordinances. --206.113.xxx.xxx

Milford, where are you located? Is this a single family home or a multi-unit?

For multi-units, you do this: go to a tow company, they will give you some free signs that say "unauthorized vehicles will be towed). Post these signs on the property. Wait 2 days. Call the tow company and say "come get the car". They come get it at NO COST to you. Done.

Single family is different. Not sure on the details. Ask a local tow company. --24.18.xx.xxx
