State Specific Question About: ARIZONA (AZ)

My tenant would like to renew their lease but they would like to add a job transfer clause to the lease. Does anyone put this kind of cluase in their lease? If so, can someone share their sameple version of this clause? Thanks.

I would offer a mtm for 10% more per month.

I've also added a buy out of the lease of one months rent.... Hopefully I can find a new tenant before the month is up and I'm ahead. --76.248.x.xxx

I rent to the military. You are REQUIRED to allow lease breaking at transfer for the military, so I extend that option to all my tenants. Here's my clause:

Resident Transfer: If the Resident is transferred or reassigned by his employer to outside the area (more than 50 miles) during the term of this lease, Resident may cancel the lease by giving thirty (30) days written notice, accompanied by full payment of the final month's rent and a letter or copy of reassignment orders. Liability under this lease will not terminate until such proof is presented. If the Resident vacates the premises prior to termination of the lease for any other reason, the full security deposit will be forfeited and the Resident shall be liable for losses sustained by the Manager until the property is rented again, such as damage and clean up, advertising, and lost rents due to vacancy. --141.129.x.xx
