State Specific Question About: WASHINGTON (WA)
Hi, Which form do I use to notify tenants that I am going to hold a yearly inspection in their unit?
Thanks! --24.19.xx.xxx |

Glad that you found this forum. It is a federal form and it is FFYI-365. You can Google that for a free download. --69.230.xxx.xxx |

You can find a form for just about anything, but you really don't need a special form to do an inspection. You can do that by simply providing at least 24 hours written notice that you will be entering the unit for purposes of inspection. And, just for the record, if you give proper notice, you can enter with or without the tenant's consent and whether or not the tenant is present. --70.92.x.xx |

What ALDO said, except for one correction. In WA, you need to give 2 days notice to enter for inspection, 1 day notice for showing to prospective tenant/purchaser. RCW 59.18.150. Check out the sample forms at ltservices dot net.
I am not sure what Bill was talking about.... --199.3.xxx.xxx |
