State Specific Question About: IDAHO (ID)

Is there a website I can go to that lists the "going rates" for rentals. I am looking to know how to establish a fair rental value for single family homes in Boise and Meridian Idaho. --67.60.xxx.xx

Compare not just locations but amenities, age, etc. Use Craiglist...as you can view pictures and get a lot more info about available rentals in your area if it's used there. --207.200.xxx.xxx

Wallace plugged Zilpy dot com and it looks pretty good for my area. That is in addition to Craigslist. If neither of those work try your local paper or drive around the area and do an informal rent survey.

We just rented out our first apartment recently and were not sure exactly what the rent level should be. We watched the paper and craigslist, and started an Excel spreadsheet noting as much info as possible about each one (bedrooms, size, pets, renovated?, appliances, SFH or apt?, etc.). We were able to track how long the place was advertised and if they dropped their rent at all. It was very valuable info. --71.244.xxx.xxx
