State Specific Question About: WISCONSIN (WI)
New couple just signed lease for beginning March 1st. In just a few weeks after that they will be getting married. Do we have them resign a new lease now together with one name or is there an addendum form used for this? WI is the state. (Want to make sure all or bases are covered.) --65.31.xx.xx |

I would think that her signature in her maiden name would be sufficient.
I don't know about Wisconsin law, but the original signature would be sufficient in Michigan. --4.165.xx.x |

A contract signed by a woman does not somehow become void because she thereafter gets married. Chill out!

You don't need to do anything. They are still on the hook whether or not they get married.
If they really have a date set, then it will probably happen, though lots of applicants lie about having fiancee's/fiance's. --65.54.xx.xxx |
