State Specific Question About: NEW HAMPSHIRE (NH)
My tenant pays weekly. Rent is due on Mondays. He owed for week of 1/14 and 1/21. I served him an Eviction Notice and Demand for Rent on 1/22 with all rents due by 1/29. Can I go to the courthouse for papers on the 29th? Or do I have to wait until Wed., the 30th? This time he is gone --- bye, bye...

hi cheryl, you'll need to wait for the 30th...the courts don't count the first day!
