State Specific Question About: TENNESSEE (TN)
My tenants left my GA property owning north of 5k in back rent and repairs. (They are still under the existing lease). They relocated to Knoxville and I may have to pursue them legally to collect. Do any of you guys know of a good real estate attorney who could handle this matter?

I think you will find that a majority of collection agency does not touch landlord/tenant debt, and those who do, most will not deal with a one time only collection of debt. That said can always call around but in your case landlord/tenant debit, an one time only, and no judgment which leaves the door open to contesting, you most likely will be very disappointed on the offers.
If your lease has the provision of reasonable attorney fees award to the prevailing party, then contact a debt collection lawyer in Tenn., to see what they will charge, this also is predicated on the fact that your tenants are collectable, if its iffy then a lawyer will require an up front retainer fee, and you may never collect, some people are what the law labels judgment proof
