State Specific Question About: INDIANA (IN)

I have been awarded a garnishment for 10% in Marion County. My question is how do I collect, the clerk simply told me I would collect at the court's office each week. But when do these checks start? Thanks, I did not have a chance to ask a lot from the clerk. --216.65.xxx.xxx

They send a check into the court monthly. Most of the time the clerk will call you when you can pick it up or you can call from time to time to see if they have any checks for you.

Of course as soon as it hits he'll most likely just quit his job. --71.65.xx.xxx

I don't know why, I really never asked. He makes more than enough money and lived there for 18+ months; so it was really iresponsible of him to not pay. All I know is he had no problems with the home or his neighbors; after that I just wanted him to pay. --68.78.x.xxx
